Dukling One

I will now be posting on my mom’s blog instead of here. The Duklings at Camian Academy

Last night my grandparents took me and Cameron to a show with horses doing tricks. These horses are Lipizzans from Austria. It was an amazing show. The man who started it all was there when they saved the Lipizzans in World War II. He and his wife have died, but his daughter runs it now. The ranch were they come from is in Florida.

Write week four spelling words. I wrote them in printing but I was supposed to write them in cursive.

MCP Word Study page 17. I had to make up some words. It was hard to figure out what the pictures were.

Read chapter 2 of Shadrach. Question: What does grandfather do? Answer: plants beans.

Math. It took two hours.

Dictation passage. It had been a wonder day, the out-in-the-country sky so high, the wind so clean, the sun soft and warm on his skin. Frogs had been singing in all the ditches. A skylark had been hanging from the skies straight above the little farm singing his heart out.

Apply. I liked the book we read last week. I can’t wait until the next one. = I liked the book we read last week, and can’t wait until the next one.
I’m doing really well in school. I will continue to do well. = I am doing well in school, and I will continue to do well.
I had fun at grandma’s house last weekend. I didn’t like the meatloaf for dinner. = I had fun at grandma’s house last weekend, but I didn’t like the meatloaf for dinner.

My testimony is that I know that this church is true and that President Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet and we should listen to him beacause Heavenly Father tells him what to say. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today I learned that when you go to church you also go to Heavenly Father’s house.  And there will be no Sunday without the Snowman Song!  No matter how much we wish.

When it’s Sunday I go to church. When I am there I get taught about Jesus Christ. That is why I love Sundays.

What my brother means to me. Someone who annoys me all the time and never stops (sometimes it’s a little fun to be annoyed all the time). One time he did a play with me. That was called “Liar.” That was a lot of fun. He wants to teach me fighting all the time but the rare occasions that I do do it it is always fun. 

I made a cross stitch for my grandma for her birthday. She loved it. Her birthday was on august 27th.

Every Sunday we go to church. From 9:00-12:00. I can’t ride my bike on Sundays and I L-O-V-E riding my bike (I can ride a two wheeler) beacause that’s not good to do on the Sabbath. So I hate Sundays and that’s final!

Me and my mom made lunch on  August 13th. I used raw chicken. It was only the second time that I was allowed to touch raw meat. We made a breading for it. I beat an egg. My mom got the flour. Here are some pictures of me working.
